Defense 4 comes from the military sector and is one of the best-selling 3-season sleeping bags in its class. It is characterized by the central zip and an extremely robust and waterproof outer material. The cover flap with zipper protects against wind and moisture, and the integrated zipper heating strip also prevents heat loss. The outer shell is a super light, highly resistant, microfiber nylon with a fine microporous coating that makes it water resistant. There is a generous draft tube on the inside of the zip to prevent heat loss at the zip.
