Every inch of infiDRY® fabric meets strict 686 specifications and endures countless hours of team testing to ensure maximum waterproofing, breathability and durability. All infiDRY® fabric can withstand multiple washes with a specially formulated outerwear detergent such as Nikwax Tech Wash.
The seams, where pieces of fabric are brought together, are the most likely place for moisture to enter a garment. The seam taping process prevents this by making the seams as waterproof as their surrounding fabric. Seams in 686 garments can be fully taped throughout the garment or taped only in critical areas to further ensure quality workmanship and guarantee waterproofing.
