Synapse 101 Skis (2016)

The G3 Synapse 101 skis offer a powerful freeride touring experience without the disadvantage that many light skis fall victim to, namely a lack of edge grip and stability at speed. A versatile rocker profile with a long and gradual early rise tip, minimal 2mm camber and a subtle early rise tail gives you plenty of float in softer snow but maintains the edge contact you need for safety. The lightness comes from a feathery Poplar and Paulownia core and its smart Stealth Razor Edge Profile (the middle of the ski is normal thickness, but it slopes to very thin as you move out). The Synapse 101 is super easy to ski in varying snow conditions, and has a fantastic width for anyone transitioning to touring.

Titanal Mounting Plate – A high strength metal plate is embedded under the composite layer to ensure that retaining screws is never an issue. This plate also serves to increase torsional stiffness and provides a solid foundation underfoot.
