TS6B is the second hardest wax in the TS series and is an excellent choice in typical winter conditions, both for cross country and alpine skiing. It is a favorite among service workers due to its superior durability and excellent traction on dirty snow. This is achieved with the help of new additives that also reduce friction on very cold snow. Despite being a cold conditions wax, its melting point makes it easier to apply than many similar waxes in this area, without compromising its gliding properties. The speed of the vessel must be approx. 8-10 seconds for a skate or alpine ski. The wax can be reheated after cooling to room temperature (10 min.) for better durability. Scrape off after waiting about a minute. It is important to have a good wax iron to melt the wax effectively. TS6B can be used as a racing wax on its own or as an alkaline wax for other racing products. Recommended wax iron temperature: 155°C.
