TS8B is harder than the other TS8 products in the PRO system. This extra hardness makes the wax more robust and therefore absorbs less dirt. The black additive reduces friction in contaminated snow. This is especially noticeable when the wax is used alone. The adult has very good test results on artificial snow and snow that has been converted to old natural snow. The speed of the iron must be approx. 8-10 seconds for a skate or alpine ski. The wax can be reheated after cooling to room temperature (10 min.) for better durability. It is important to have a good iron to effectively melt the wax. TS8B can be used as a race wax on its own, but is also often used as a base wax for other race products. Recommended temperature for iron: 150°C.
