Tyrfing was a magical sword in Norse mythology that appears in the Tyrfing cycle. Svafriami was the king of Gardariki and Odin's grandson. He managed to capture the dwarves Dvalinn and Durin after leaving the cave where they lived. He forced them to forge a sword with a golden hilt that would never miss a beat, never rust, and cut through both stone and iron as easily as through clothing.
