Fine-tuned for lighter users, the ZED 9 achieves an ideal balance between a lightweight build,
user-friendly feature set and uncompromising downhill performance and safety.
Starting with the ION's proven platform, we looked at every part, every mechanism and every screw to develop the idea of a fully equipped binding with the lightest possible weight. With ZED, we set out to define the next generation of lightweight, high-performance touring bindings.
Anti-snowpacking features built into the toe and brake design keep snow away and provide a confident step-in. Optimal toe elasticity for maximum energy absorption and minimized prerelease. 8.5mm range of forward pressure in the heel to maintain consistent release. Wide freeride bracket transfers power to the ski and provides pullout resistance. The wide center support of the tower and a metal-wrapped base transfer power and precision to the ski. Cord and brakes sold separately.
